The main types of adverbs are adverbs of manner (how), place (where), time (when), frequency (how often), and degree (how much). Other types include conjunctive adverbs, which connect clauses, and adverbs of purpose or reason. 

Common types of adverbs 

 Adverbs of Manner: Describe how an action is performed. Examples include quickly, happily, and quietly. 

 Adverbs of Place: Indicate the location or direction of an action. Examples include here, there, and everywhere. 

 Adverbs of Time: Specify when an action takes place. Examples include now, yesterday, and soon.
